Change The Game

Gainify entered the Algorand Foundation sponsored "Change The Game" hackathon within the DeFi track. The hackathon invited teams to pitch their project in front of a panel of judges, with the top 3 teams in each track taking home a cash prize. The winner of each track received a trip to Decipher 2024 to present at the conference. Project Lead Husq was the Gainify presenter for the hackathon.

There were more than 15 teams that entered the DeFi track, and Gainify beat out all but two and took home third place! The win awarded a $3,000 USDC cash prize and while we didn't present, we were invited to Decipher to represent Gainify at the conference.

Our tech lead Genset Joe flew to Barcelona and was in attendance both days of Decipher. He networked efficiently with various projects in the ecosystem and successfully represented the green & black.

In our One Pager we outlined a project goal of attending Decipher 2025, so we were thrilled to advance that target by a year. Thank you to the Algorand Foundation, the panel of judges, and everyone we interacted with during this process.
