Husq, short for Husqvarna, is the project lead and the man responsible for assembling the Gainify team. His first crypto purchase was BTC in 2014 and he's been hooked on the space since. Having contributed to three different projects since 2017, ranging from privacy coins to yield farming concepts, he has a wealth of experience and knowledge that he's bringing to the Gainify team. In addition to his extensive experience in crypto, Husq earned Latin honors when he graduated with his degree in business administration. Husq will be steering the ship by doing everything necessary to make $GAIN a premier ASA in the Algorand ecosystem.
Joe is an engineer by trade, working a stable job in his field and earning a variety of industry certifications along the way. Like Husq, Joe has spent a lot of time in crypto - earning his stripes in the early Ethereum and mining days of 2017. He also owns about 30 different hardware wallets. Joe has been a contributor to multiple crypto projects with roles ranging from community management to development to conceptual design. For Gainify, Joe will be managing our technology. These include liquidity locks, farm provisions, wallet management, website operation, and our future in-house developments surrounding yield farming.
Banklezz doesn't have a bank because he spends all of his time in Figma...Really though, he doesn't have a bank because his national currency is a disaster. Despite his country having a wealth of resources, his local economy is chaotic through poor management. This experience is what drove him to the refuge of BTC & crypto and he's been all-in ever since. Banklezz is a wizard of design and you've likely seen his graphics in some form across twitter, CEXs, or crypto websites, as he's been a ghost designer for a variety of projects. He's passionate about crypto education and works tirelessly to provide it to the world. Banklezz is our lead designer responsible for website aesthetics, social media graphics, and branding materials.
SBazinga is our jack of all trades. He can do some coding, some web design & SEO, some business development, all while skillfully managing our community. Previously SBazinga has been a community manager for two different DeFi projects, with one of them hosting over 100,000 members. He has seen bull & bear markets alike and knows what the community expects in each of them. For Gainify SBazinga will be overseeing our Discord along with community events. Be them giveaways, AMAs, offering help/support, or providing rewards to our tenured community members, he'll be on top of it all.
We believe Algorand is the best chain for DeFi. It's fast, scalable, cost effective, sufficiently decentralized, and offers unique security mechanisms like opting-in to assets for your wallet. All of our years spent on EVM chains, we've seen so many scams and rugs it's hard to quantify them all.
In addition to believing in Algorand, we firmly believe DeFi gives the power of money creation to the world rather than the hands of a few central bankers. The challenge is, Algorand has low activity compared to other chains. It has nowhere near the TVL, users, volume or demand that Ethereum or Solana has.
Beyond meme coins or cash grabs, what attracts and retains users to DeFi ecosystems? Yields are a big part of it. Algorand has limited options for yield farms, lending protocols, or other DAPPs that offer APRs on bigger chains. Our solution is to create an ASA that is yield centric. Provide liquidity, earn rewards, rinse & repeat. This is our design behind Gainify, and we believe it can be a mainstay in Algorand for years to come.
As Algorand works to attract capital from other chains, those prospective users will be looking for ways to provide liquidity and farm yields as that's what they're familiar with. Infrastructure now exists through sites like Cometa & Akita, but there haven't been any ASAs that carry a yield centric thesis. Sure it's nice to share trading fees for providing liquidity, but more is offered elsewhere. That's where we come in - to fill this void and offer the Algorand ecosystem a way to boost TVL, volume & users.
Will it work? We believe it will. But it will take a lot of effort on our part. First we'll have to attract attention within the existing, small Algorand ecosystem. Then we'll have to attract users from outside Algo. We'll use our experience and network to do this.
This is our vision and we hope you share it with us! If you do, give us a follow on X/Twitter or join our Discord.
